Biography :
The Fantastics began life as the The Pharaohs and have two unreleased sides, "Bye Bye Baby" and "Rocket 88". For Their beginning on RCA, they backed Dave Rich on "I've Thought It Over".

Dave Rich Sammy Strain (The Imperials)
The rocker "Millionaire Hobo" coupled with the doo-wop song "There Goes My Love" are released on RCA 7572 in August. "This Is My Wedding Day" comes out on RCA 7664 in December with "I got a zero". "Believe in me"," My girl", "Angie Lee", "Drum Beat" four unreleased sides was subsequently released on the Park Avenue label in the 90's.

Sammy Strain of the Imperials was the first tenor for the Fantastics on RCA and had been with the Chips on Josie, the Blue Chips on RCA, and in the 1970s with the O'Jays.
