New Theme         MMaxi10 Study On Colors 

It was my first oil painting lesson today

I will be going every wednesday for 2 hours to a group painting lesson

I want to try and understand the process of creating an image an idea on canvas 

The cold weather as arrived in Amsterdam " Gaivota " is starting her winter sleep 

So now is a good time to start a new thought' an idea

First I was asked to choose an image

The simplicity and almost infantile way of painting the bold colors appealed to me 

I'm excited and can't wait for the next lesson

Last photos taken this year on Gaivota it's time to clean her

Take her on that last voyage of 2010 to her winter spot

Where she will rest and sleep
