The room in Florence | 16 septembre 2006

We arrived in Florence around 13.00. The flight from Milan was easy around 1h.
We got a taxi from the airport to the hotel Lungarno Suites.
The trip is not so far away as in Milan.
I will never forget that moment when I first saw the River Arno and the Ponte Vechio.The taxi stopped and the driver told us this is it.
All i could think was, everything is going so well so far I hope they will put us in a good room.The Italian Lady at the front desk was very friendly, but immediately we could feel the difference between the Lungarno Suites and the Principe de Savoia hotel.Lungarno Suites are apartments Suites, with a kitchen and coffee maker.
The room was perfect, with air conditioning and a View that takes your breath away.I couldn't wait to explore this Medieval City with it's History and Architecture, Piazzas and Museums. And the food, I had heard from everybody that the best of Italian cuisine could be found in Florence. And I was not disappointed.
