Nightwish - Tarja: c'est fini... | 24 avril 2006

Voilà c'est officiel! Tarja s'est fait virée du groupe!!!
Dans une lettre de Tuomas adressé à cette dernière publièe dans le site officiel; où il a clairement ennoncé son intention de se séparer d'elle, lui et les autres membre du groupe.

D'après Tuoma, Tarja aurait fait preuve de cupidité, de négligence face au groupe en priviligient sa carrière solo, en cédant à des caprices de stars sous l'influence de son mari, Marcelo ect ect.
Tout ceci etant bien entendu contraire aux principes du groupe...
Tuomas à même declaré qu'il ne pourrait plus jamais écrire de chanson qu'elle chanterait.. que toute la magie de nightwish avait disparue..
Cependant, se ne sont que des paroles, il est donc inutile d'accuser et de jetter la pierre à quiquonque; nous ne connaissons pas le fin mot de l"histoire.
Quoiqu'il en soit, je respecte la decision de Tuomas et encourage vivement le groupe dans leur continuation.
Tuomas fait part de leur volonté de choisir une nouvelle chanteuse pour succéder à Tarja.. Je place tous mes espoirs en elle et toute ma confiance en Tuomas pour ce qui est du choix.

Il est vrai que Nightwish sans Tarja... Ca ne sera plus jamais comme avant. Cela marque la fin d'une air... et nouveau commencement.
J'espère que cette rupture va pouvoir permettre au groupe de repartir sur de bonnes bases, de s'ameliorer etc
Il est vrai que le groupe avait nettement sombré dans le commercial (avec Once) et je souhaite vivement qu'il se penche d'avantage des à present dans un style plus proche de celui de Ocean Born et Wishmaster.

"Dear Tarja,

It`s time to choose whether the story of Nightwish ends here or whether it will still continue an undetermined period of time. We`ve been working with this creation for 9 years and we are not ready to give up yet. Nightwish is a way of life, something to live for, and we`re certain we can`t let it go.

Equally certain is the fact that we cannot go on with you and Marcelo any longer. During the last year something sad happened, which I`ve been going over in my head every single day, morning and night. Your attitude and behavior don`t go with Nightwish anymore. There are characteristics I would never have believed to see in my old dear friend.
People who don`t talk with each other for a year do not belong in the same band.

We are involved in an industry where the business-side of things is a necessary evil and something to worry about all the time. We are also a band which has always done music from the heart, because of friendship and the music itself. The mental satisfaction should always be more important than money! Nightwish is a band, it`s an emotion.
To you, unfortunately, business, money, and things that have nothing to do with those emotions have become much more important. You feel that you have sacrificed yourself and your musical career for Nightwish, rather than thinking what it has given to you.
This attitude was clearly shown to me in the two things you said to me in an airplane in Toronto: ”I don`t need Nightwish anymore.” and ”Remember, Tuomas, that I could leave this band at any time, giving you only one day`s warning in advance”.
I can`t simply write any more songs for you to sing.

You have said yourself that you are merely a ”guest musician” in Nightwish. Now that visit ends and we will continue Nightwish with a new female vocalist.
We`re sure this is an equally big relief to you as it is for us. We have all been feeling bad long enough.

You told us that no matter what, the next Nightwish album will be your last one. However, the rest of us want to continue as long as the fire burns. So there`s no sense in doing that next album with you, either.
The four of us have been going over this situation countless times and we have realized that this is the thing we want to do in life. It´s all we can do. In December 2004, in Germany, you said that you will never tour again for more than two weeks at a time. You also said that we can forget about U.S. and Australia because the fees and the sizes of venues are too small.

In interviews I`ve mentioned that if Tarja leaves, that would be the end of the band. I understand that people will think this way. Nightwish is, however, a scenery of my soul and I`m not ready to let go because of one person. A person who wants to focus her creativity to somewhere else, a person whose values don`t match mine.

We were never bothered by the fact that you didn`t participate in writing/arranging songs, you never in 9 years came to rehearse the songs with us before going to the studio. Not the fact that while on tour you always wanted to fly, separately from us with your husband. Not the fact that you are an undisputable front image of the band.
We accepted and felt ok about everything except greed, underestimating the fans, and breaking promises. It was agreed by the five of us that Nightwish would be the priority in everything that we do during 2004-2005. Still so many things were more important to you. The ultimate example being the already sold-out show in Oslo, which you wanted to cancel because you needed to rehearse for your solo concerts, meet frieds and go to the movies. Those were the words Marcelo used in an e-mail explaining the cancellation. This being just one example of so many. I couldn`t think of a worse way of being selfish and dismissing our fans.

Nightwish is a way of life and a job with many obligations. To each other and to the fans. With you we can`t take care of those duties anymore.

Deep within we don`t know which one of you drove us to this point. Somehow Marcelo has changed you from the lovely girl you were into a diva, who doesn`t think or act the way she used to. You are too sure of your irreplaceableness and status.

It`s obvious that you blame your stress and misery on us four. And you think we don`t respect or listen to you. Belive us; We have always had the uppermost respect towards you as a wonderful vocalist and as a friend. And very often during the past couple of years the plans were made according to your decisions only. You were always the only one who wanted more money from the shows.
This ”compensation and more money from everything” –attitude is the fact that we are most disappointed of!

We wish that from now on you will listen to your heart instead of Marcelo. Cultural differences combined with greed, opportunism and love is a dangerous combination. Do not wither yourself.

This decision is not something we are especially proud of but you gave us no choice. The gap between us is too wide. And the decision is made by us four unanimously. We are beyond the point where things could be settled by talking.

Je l'ai découvert il y a quelques mois grace a une amie (merci mon dédé) et je suis vraiment devenue acro.
Bon ce n'est pas du tout du metal (comme quoi je peux écouter autre chose) mais c'est absolument magnifique.

Loreena Mc Kennitt est née en 1957 au Canada mais est d'origine irlandaise. Elle grandit dans le Manitoba puis s'installe en Ontario en 1981. A ce moment, c'est déjà en tant que compositeur-interprète qu'elle gagne sa vie. En 1985, elle fonde son propre label, Quinlan Road, et assure elle-même la production, la promotion et la vente de ses oeuvres en cassette. Le succès devenant trop grand pour ce mode de distribution, c'est Warner qui assure celle-ci à partir de 1991 et "The Visit", album vendu à plus d'un million d'exemplaires.

On pourrait qualifier cette musique de musique "folk" ou "lyrique" enfin c'est vraiment à part..
En fait on va dire qu'il sagit de musique Celtique à consonance irlandaise et ecossaise (propre à ses origines) avec de nettes influences orientales (indiennes et marocaines).
Très ressemblant aux musiques de films (vous avez surment dû en entendre dans un film, un documentaire ou une bande annonce).
Elle possède une superbe voix, envoutante...

Bref cette musique est tout simlpement magnifique, chargée en poésie, on se sent plongé dans lheroic fantastique féérique...

Sont dernier album est "The Book Of Secrets".

je vous recommande fortement The Mystic's Dream (presente dans la bande annonce du film Possession); The Mummers' Dance; All Souls Night; Marco Polo

C'est vieu comme le monde, mais ça fait tjr marrer...

HEAVY METAL
Le protagoniste arrive sur une Harley Davidson, tue le dragon, boit quelque bières et baise la princesse.

GRIND METAL
Le protagoniste arrive, crie quelque chose de complètement inaudible pendant 2 minutes et repart.

POWER METAL
Le protagoniste arrive chevauchant un cheval blanc, s'enfuit du dragon, sauve la princesse et la baise dans une forêt enchantée.

THRASH METAL
Le protagoniste arrive, combat le dragon, sauve la princesse et la baise facilement et rapidement.

FOLK METAL
Le protagoniste arrive avec des amis flutiste, accordéoniste et violoniste, le dragon s'endort (dût à toute ces danses) et quitte sans la princesse.

VIKING METAL
Le protagoniste arrive en bateau, tue le dragon avec une hache, le cuisine pour le manger, viole la princesse à mort et vole le château avant de le brûlé en quittant.

DEATH METAL
Le protagoniste arrive, tue le dragon, baise la princesse et la tue.

BLACK METAL
Le protagoniste arrive à minuit, tue le dragon et le pend devant le château, sodomise la princesse, bois son sang dans un rituel avant de la tuer et pend à son tour la princesse.

GORE METAL
Le protagoniste arrive, tue le dragon en répendant ses entrailles devant le château, baise la princesse et la tue, rebaise le corps mort, tranche son estomac pour en bouffer les trippes, rebaise la carcasse pour une 3eme fois, brûle le cadavre et la rebaise une dernière fois.

DOOM METAL
Le protagoniste arrive, observe la taille du dragon et réfléchis au fait qu'il ne pourra jamais le battre, devient dépressif, se suicide et le dragon mange son corps ainsi que la princesse.

PROGRESSIVE METAL
Le protagoniste arrive avec une guitare et joue un solo de 26 minutes, le dragon se tue lui-même par ennui, le protagoniste arrive près du lit de la princesse, joue un autre solo qu'il eut apprit durant sa dernière année de conservatoire, la princesse s'enfuit et va chercher le protagoniste heavy metal.

GLAM METAL
Le protagoniste arrive, le dragon rit de son apparence et le fait entrer, vole le maquillage de la princesse et essaie de peindre les murs du château en rose.

INDUSTRIAL METAL
Le protagoniste arrive avec un trench-coat, fait des gestures obscene au dragon, et se fait escorter hors du château par la sécurité.

METAL A CHANTEUSE
La protagoniste arrive, elle chante pour le dragon en prenant des poses sexy, elle entre dans le chateau après avoir un peu caressé l'animal, elle arrive devant la princesse, la trouve moche, lui pique sa robe, lui pique sa place et attend que le batteur de son groupe vienne la délivrer selon la méthode de son choix

NEO METAL
Le protagoniste arrive, il flippe du dragon alors il reste devant les douves en faisant des gestes obscenes à la princesse. Il repart dans la forêt se masturber.

METAL MELODIQUE
Le protagoniste arrive en tenue d'elfe et en jean moulant, il fait une déclaration au dragon qui l'emmene sur son dos dans une autre contrée pour convoler en justes noces. La princesse se caresse seule avec le pommeau de son miroir.

HARD ROCK
Le protagoniste arrive en short avec une casquette. La princesse se casse degoutee et le dragon passe une bonne soiree en sautant partout.
