Boy George est entrain d'effectuer deux spectacles dans le Kent, dans le cadre de sa dernière tournée.

Les 46 ans du chanteur, qui vient de Eltham, prend son "Songs That Make You Dance And Cry" titre de sa tournee londonnienne montrer à Dartford et Margate en février.

Les promoteurs disent le spectacle comprendront les plus connues chansons de culture Club, ses succes solo et quelques nouvelles chansons.

Le chanteur, dont le vrai nom est George Alan O'Dowd, est passé à la célébrité au début des années 1980 après le coup Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?

Le groupe, qui fait partie du Nouveau mouvement romantique, a été pour un temps l'un des plus populaires dans le monde, et vendu des millions de disques.

Un porte-parole de l'artiste a déclaré: "Boy George unique de voix sont reconnaissables et ont été responsables de la vente de millions d'albums le monde.

Boy George is to perform two shows in Kent as part of his latest tour.

The 46-year-old singer, who comes from Eltham, takes his Songs That Make You Dance And Cry show to Dartford and Margate in February.

Promoters say the show will include his best-known Culture Club and solo hits and some new songs.

The singer, whose real name is George Alan O'Dowd, rose to fame in the early 1980s after the hit Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?

The band, part of the New Romantic movement, was for a while one of the most popular in the world and sold millions of records.

A spokesman for the artist said: “Boy George's unique vocals are instantly recognisable and have been responsible for the sale of millions of albums worldwide.

  “The man whose unique style has always been as important as his music and whose clever, witty responses to boorish questions have in turn thrilled and horrified his huge audience, has remained in the public eye for 25 years; his international career as DJ and musician, his fashion label B-Rude and his colourful off-stage life have, it could be argued, kept some newspapers in business for a long time.

“But George is first and foremost a musician and artist of exceptional talent and this series of concerts provide a perfect performance platform for one of the music scene's most successful and popular performers.”
