Boy George Is Very Popular In Jail | 27 janvier 2009

When you're a slovenly, makeup-wearing gay man jailed for torturing an escort in a highly public case, you may be shaking in your man-heels about going to prison.

But if you're a a slovenly, makeup-wearing gay man jailed for torturing an escort, who also happened to sing "Karma Chameleon" than you got nothing to worry about.

Boy George had to be moved from Category B Pentonville jail because he was too popular.

Inmates lined up for his autograph and guards were caught being "too kind" by bumming him cigarettes. Boy George had his own personal guard because his cell was a hotbed for starry-eyed murders and rapists wanting to hang with the former Culture Club singer.

"It's ironic that he was worried about getting beaten up in Pentonville but all that happened was people showered him with so much attention and kindness that they had to move him anyway," a prison source said.

Well then. Boy George may have finally found his niche -- in a London tranny version of Shawshank Redemption.

Pourquoi tant de haine ?

Qui aurait pu prédire que l'interprète de « Do you really want to hurt me ? » (veux-tu vraiment me faire du mal ?) purgerait 25 ans plus tard, une peine de 15 mois de prison ferme, pour avoir maltraité un escort boy (qui a du d'ailleurs lui poser la question .) ?
Pas nous !

Et qui va sourire lorsqu'il apprendra que c'est justement durant cette sombre période que va sortir le duo qu'a enregistré Boy avec notre Régine nationale, intitulée sobrement « I've always brought luck to men » (J'ai toujours porté chance aux hommes) ?

Joker !

La sortie de ce titre est programmé pour Mars 2009 . Quelle chance en effet !

Boy George en prison pourrait être libre après seulement quatre mois de sa peine de 15 mois.

Le chanteur a déjà été transféré à un "soft" de prison.


George, 47, a été condamné la semaine dernière pour la séquestration d'un homme d'escorte, il enchaîné à un mur et battu avec une chaîne.


Mais il a déjà quitté Londres dur Pentonville Prison pour la catégorie C Edmunds Hill, à Newmarket, Suffolk.


A la prison d'initiés revendiqué déshonorées la star, le vrai nom George O'Dowd, a été accélérée en raison de son statut de célébrité. Le délit d'initié, a déclaré: "Il est incroyable de voir comment il a été rapidement traitée."


George est en droit d'être considéré pour une libération anticipée sur une étiquette et sous couvre-feu en avril.


Il ya eu des demandes, il pourrait avoir été la cible de certains retards, parce qu'il est gay.

 

La source a déclaré: «Les détenus savaient à propos de sa sexualité et certains ont entendu parler de lui d'attaquer."


La nuit dernière, un porte-parole du service des prisons a insisté: "Aucun prisonnier reçoit un traitement spécial.


"C'est une pratique normale pour les prisonniers d'être transférés d'un établissement à l'autre - les prisonniers sont détenus dans l'endroit le plus approprié, fondé sur un certain nombre de facteurs."


L'ancien chanteur Culture Club seront éligibles pour la liberté sur la libération conditionnelle en août, si sa première sortie est bloquée.
