Cet ep eu malgrés tout un petit succès d'estime même sans campagne proimotionnelle...

Le titre très originale est sans aucun doute AM I LOSING CONTROL sont le remix génial est de METAL BIRD.

MORE THAN LIKELY........ "MORE THAN .... BIDE....." 11-03-2006

AVRIL 1993, sort la collaboration avec le groupe pop anglais de l'année 1992 P.M DAWN.
Le single s'appelle "more than likely"...
Le single rentre à la 40eme place en Angleterre 2 MOIS APRES (4/06/1993) pour monter jusqu'à la 24eme place....
Hélas, il ne fut classé que 2 semaines dans les charts!!!
Aucun classements dans les autres pays!!!! En france, il est passé innaperçu....

La mélodie est plate et insignifiante! Tout le monde réclamait donc des remixes! Mais la maison de disque a joué la sortie du single "tres marketing"!! En effet, il existe uniquement un double cd, 2 pictures cd avec une pochette ouvrante!
Hélas, le contenu sonore ne suit pas et cela explique la faiblesse du disque dans les charts!

Le single comporte 2 titres : 7" Single
A. More Than Likely (Edit)
B. When It's Raining Cats + Dogs (PM Dawn only)

le maxi comporte 3 titres :
A. version album (version lourde et lente)
B. drum + bass mix (avec des airs de "sweet toxic love")

AT WORST.... THE BEST OF CULTURE CLUB AND BOY GEORGE 11-03-2006

Porté par L'immense succès de THE CRYING GAME, Virgin ressort une nouvelle compile...
Celle ci devrait donner un coup de pouce aux single THE CRYING GAME qui ne décolle pas en FRANCE suite au fait que POLYDOR refuse d'en assurer la promo....

L'album connu tout de même un franc succès en FRANCE CAR George en assura lui même la promotion en faisant des fotos dans differents magazines, et participe à différentes emissions en France (coucou c'est nous de DECHAVANNE, par exemple...)....
La compile grimpa jusqu'à la 28eme du Top 30 des albums en France, 24eme en Angleterre et 169eme (????????) aux Etas Unis....

Hélas, cette compile dont la pochette s'avère baclée comparé à SPIN DAZZLE, rencontra un succès d'estime.....
