Cet album pourrait presque s'appeler CHEAPNESS & BEAUTY number 2, tellement il lui ressemble!
Néanmois, celui ci s'avère plus rock et ne comporte pas autant de mélodies "accrocheuses" que CHEAPNESS & BEAUTY.
G.I JOSEPHINE a été écrite pendant la tournée de CHEAPNESS & BEAUTY et est une réponse au président BILL CLINTON. George dit " don't ask, don't tell" concernant les gays militaires.
MR STRANGE relate de la stupide rivalité qu'il y a eu entre STEVE STRANGE et George durant les années 80.
George abandonna cette chanson dans les archives après être parti de VIRGIN...
SHE WAS NEVER HE est une ode sur les drag queen...
NUMBER ONE est une satire sur les pop stars comme lui et CULTURE CLUB qui sont condamnés a réaliser que des hits, comme madonna le fait aujourdhui.... cela le fait rire et en fit une chanson.
