George chanta I JUST WANNA BE LOVED et DO YOU REALLY WANT TO HURT ME.
L'émission se déroule le 28 février 1999 au studio de la plaine st denis. Seul ROY HAY manque à l'appel (qui resta en famille à los angeles).
Le 29 février, George chante I JUST WANNA BE LOVED lors de l'émission "rince ta baignoire", pour enchainer sur MCM le 30 février pour une interview avec mikey graig et le clip en diffusion (jon étant parti sur londres pour superviser l'enregistrement de l'emission de TOP OF THE TOPS, suite à la méga entrée du single directement 4eme des ventes pour I JUST WANNA BE LOVED!!!).
Le mercredi 4 mars, Le goupe se produit à l'émission sur france 2 "vivement dimanche" et partit ensuite au concert de BLONDIE au bataclan.

CONCERT DE CULTURE CLUB LE 9/06/98 07-07-2006
19h30, Ouverture des portes.
30 mn plus tard, DANNI MINOGUE assure la 1ere partie.
21h00, George arrive sur scène et entone CHURCH OF THE POISON MIND puis enchaine avec une nouvelle version de MISS ME BLIND, beaucoup plus mélodieuse, agrémentée d'un air de flûte puis I'LL TUMBLE 4 YA arriva ensuite.
Dés le début de TIME, des cris de folie se déclenchèrent, la voix de George est à son paroxysme. George annonça ensuite, qu'il allait chanter une nouvelle chanson STRANGE VOODOO, qui n'en est pas une pour les fans, car George la chante depuis quelques temps en concert, suivie de WHAT DO YOU WANT chanson écrite à l'origine pour LIPPY YOU, sublime reggae comme George sait si bien les chanter et les écrires; a la fin de cette chanson, George annonce qu'il a une surprise pour le public.... MIKEY GRAIG arrive à ce moment là sur scène.
Celui ci commence à la guitare, I JUST WANNA BE LOVED qui devint le premier single à succès de CULTURE CLUB depuis 12ans!!!!!
George, après l'entracte, revint avec ZEE sur THAT'THE WAY. L'émotion continue avec BLACK MONEY.
JON MOSS arriva sur scène à ce moment là ce qui mit la foule en "transe".
Seul ROY HAY fut absent car il fut obligé de rester à LOS ANGELES pour raisons personnelles.
Le groupe mythique renaissait ENFIN de ses cendres.
DO YOU REALLY WANT TO HURT ME et KARMA CHAMELEON conclurent le concert avec VICTIMS.
Il n'y a pas de rappels, les adieux sont rapides.
George n'a plus la pèche qu'il avait dans les années 80, et demeura trop statiques selon les fans. Il ne communiqua pas assez avec le public et se contenta surtout de chanter.
Pourtant, la magie d'autrefois de CULTURE CLUB est revenue même le temps d'un seul album....
