IMMACULE CONCEPTION 02-07-2006

En 1991, une mythomane originaire de Los Angeles poursuit en justice Boy George l'accusant d'avoir abuser d'elle et lui avoir fait un enfant!
Elle demanda une reconnaissance de paternité et une pension alimentaire....

L'affaire fit bien évidemment les choux gras des journaux à scandales mais l'affaire fut presque immédiatement abandonnée faute de preuve.

CONCERT A EVREUX 02-07-2006

Le 28 juin 1991, George donne un concert à Evreux en France!!!!!! " sic"!

250 personnes uniquement pour une immense salle était présents!!!!
Le concert programmé pour 21h30, a commencé à 23h15!!!!
La place a couté 140francs! et les organisateurs du concert ont baclé la prestation de George...
Celui ci arriva, un peu surpris du vide de la salle et a chanté 5 chansons pendant 1 heure!

Sa tenue est dorée et porte un chapeau.
Il chante "generation of love" new version, en dansant tout en regardant les gradins vides.
Puis vint "one on one", "la reprise des stones "you can always what you want" puis enchaine avec "after the love" superbement remixé par DANNY RAMPLING.
Une véritable pluie de fleurs s'est abattue sur lui pendant toute la chanson et poursuit enfin avec "bow down mister" tres suivi par tout le monde avant de se sauver en coulisse...

Concert mal organisé et baclé par la faute des organisateurs peu scrupuleux dont leur but etait de faire recette en vendant le plus de place possible sans faire aucune publicités et organisations... les escrocs!!!

Le JOURNAL DU DIMANCHE publia dès les jours qui suivit le concert, "le flop de Boy George" en premiere page!!!
Il parait que tout les concerts français ont été similaire durant cette période avec un George se montrant fatigué et/ou usé par cela, voir destroy pour certains....

Je le comprends...

REEDITION du single GENERATION OF LOVE 02-07-2006

juin 1991, re sort GENERATION OF LOVE avec le remix "commercial" : "la la gone gaga mix"!
Avec ce remix, George nous fait le coup "tube de l'été" avec la lambada-gypsy king avec un zeste de ragga-muffin rappeux chanté par AMOS et MC KINKY...

les fans sont au rendez vous devant le studio Gabriel pour voir George se produire à l'émission présenté par Michel Drucker "champs élysées".
George vient chanter "bow down mister".

Plus tard, il passe sa soirée au restaurant de l'Espace Cardin. Il recontre et discute avec lio et se re-produit avec pleins de fans en chantant "bow down mister"....

Toujours à Paris, quelques seances fotos par ici, par là, se suivèrent... (voir photos...)
