Dikembe Mutombo, malgré ses 40 ans passées continue de jouer. biensur, il n'est plus titulaire depuis longtemps mais lorsqu'il entre sur le terrain, il défend sérieusement. cette saison, il n'a joué que 8 matchs avec Houston. il tourne a 0.6 pts, 3.6 rbs, 0.1 pd, 0.1 int et 0.1 ct. c'est sa 17ème saison et il a joueé dans 1156 matchs NBA, et a une moyenne de 10.1 pts, 10.5 rbs et 2.7 ct par match. il a été 8 fois allstar dont 3 fois starters... quelques records en carrière: 39 pts, 31 rbs ou encore 12 cts dans un match...

Spurs sweep Cavs!!! | 15 juin 2007

 
et de 4!!! les Spurs remportent le match 4, 83 à 82. jamais Cleveland n'a pu trouver la solution pour arrêter Tony Parker. hier matin, la fiancé de LeBron James a accouché de son deuxième fils, après LeBron James Jr., Brice Maximus James (les ricains avec leurs noms!!!) du coup il a peu dormi mais a assuré avant le rencontre que ce fait ne pourrait en aucun cas servir d'excuse en cas de défaite. je remarque quand même que LeBron James (24 pts, 10 pds, 6 rbs et 6 pertes de balles) a perdu 3 ballons consécutivement a un moment crucial en fin de partie alors qu'il n'était pas pressé... ça a été son plus gros problème tout au long de la série (5,67 TOs). Drew Gooden finit avec 11 pts et 11 rbs (4 off) et Ilgauskas avec 8 pts et 13 rbs (5 off), 1 pd et 1 ct. Daniel Gibson, le rookie, termine avec 10 pts, 5 pds et 2 rbs. il faut rappeler que ce sont les premières finales de l'histoire de Cleveland. ils ont fait un très beau parcours. c'est juste dommage de se faire sweeper à ce niveau de la compétition...
 
 
côté Spurs, Tim Duncan a été en délicatesse avec son shoot et termine avec seulement 12 pts (4-15), 15 rbs (5 off), 3 pds et 2 cts. Emmanuel Ginobili a été le joueur clé de la fin de partie puisqu'il a rentré quasiment tout ses lancers francs et fini meilleur marqueur de la rencontre avec 27 pts (8-19 dt 3-9 à 3PT et 8-11 au LF), 5 rbs, 3 pds et 1 int mais la star du jour c'est Tony Parker qui finit avec 24 pts, 7 rbs et 1 pd tout en continuant son festival de tirs spectaculaires. Fabricio Oberto termine avec 7 pts, 5 rbs (3 off) et 1 int.
 
 
 

 
Les Spurs sont champions pour la 4ème fois en 9 ans, il rentrent dans le cercle fermé des prestigieuses dynastie: Boston avec 11 titres, Los Angeles avec 6 titres, Chicago, également avec 6 titres et maintenant San Antonio avec 4 titres.
 
 
Michael Finley, 34 ans, qui vivaient ses premières finales remporte enfin un titre. il a fait le bon choix en quittant Dallas il y a 2 ans. même s'il n'a pas été très efficace pendant cette série, il fait partie intégrante de l'équipe et a bien joué son rôle tout au long de cette saison.
 
 
 
que dire de Robert Horry, 7ème titre de sa carrière (2 avec Houston, 3 avec Los Angeles et 2 avec San Antonio). il est le 6ème joueur de l'histoire de la NBA a décroché 7 titres et plus et en pus il dépasse de grands joueurs tels, Micheal Jordan, Scottie Pippen.
 
 
Tony Parker est élu MVP des Finals. avec 24.7 pts par match et plus de 57% au tir, il devient le premier Européen a décrocher le titre.
